Less Traffic, More Open Space
Measure H is the result of years of negotiations between Rocklin city officials, trusted community leaders and the owners of Clover Valley — a balanced and responsible plan written by the community, for the community.
- Protects Clover Valley against sprawl while respecting private property rights
- Guarantees that 60% of Clover Valley will be preserved as permanent open space – a 552% increase over earlier proposals
- Reduces traffic congestion with a new two-lane road connecting New Park Drive and Sierra College Boulevard – speeding commute time and cutting emergency response time by over half for police, fire and ambulance service
- Creates a new five-acre park and over two miles of hiking and biking trails in Clover Valley with full public access for all to enjoy
- Guarantees that the number of trees in Clover Valley will not be reduced
- Preserves Native American sacred sites, wildlife habitat, meadows and our majestic Valley Oaks
- Does all this without new taxes or higher fees – guaranteed
